Stretching like a string of pearls in an ever changing sea, Flinders Island is the largest of 52 granite islands situated in eastern Bass Strait between Tasmania and mainland Australia. Full of history and romance, home of the Straitsmen, the island's beauty draws you to a natural paradise.
To help you plan a holiday on Flinders Island, we have a range of walking, touring and fishing packages to enable you to enjoy the best of Flinders Island.
For accommodation on Flinders Island, we work with the leading accommodation suppliers on Flinders Island to offer you a range of places to stay, from the five star 'Healing Dreams Resort ' placed between Mount Strzelecki and the white sands of Trousers Point beach, to the 3.5 star comfortable holiday cottages in Lady Barron overlooking the islands and blue waters of Franklin Sound.

Cottage Accommodation

- 2 full days 4WD tours (or 1 full and 2 half days depending on flights )
in a luxury Toyota Landcruiser with experienced local driver/guide

This package is designed to show the best of this beautiful island in a short period of time, getting you to some of the remote and lovely areas that the visitor rarely sees. The tours not only take you to secluded coves and rugged coastlines, up to high lookouts and through the very heart of the central mountain range, but also to the Museum at Emita and historic 'Wybalenna', site of the last settlement of the Tasmanian Aborigines.
Tour cost: $599.00 pp including GST -

Luxury 4WD Tours
Full day - minimum 2
As a highlight of your visit to the island, enjoy a tour by luxury 4WD that takes you off the beaten track to places the visitor rarely sees. Our guides will show you the wildlife and scenery and tell you about the fascinating history of these islands.
Tour includes morning tea and lunch. We collect and return you to either your accommodation or the airport.
Tour cost: $179.00 pp including GST.
Half day $99.00 pp including GST.
Birds of Bass Strait
Spa Resort Accommodation
3 days/2 nights - minimum 4
Package includes:
- Full day guided walks with full itinerary including the expertise of a field naturalist, past president of the Gould Society of Victoria.
- One half day out on the boat to visit outer islands on board' Strait Lady'.
- Twin share accommodation in holiday cottages in Lady Barron. 2 or 3 bedroom cottages with all amenities - bring just your clothing and personal effects, lovely views of Franklin Sound, set in well landscaped grounds or at Spa Resort at Healing Dreams.
- Breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and a BBQ dinner the first night .

- One day out on the boat to visit outer islands on board' Strait Lady'.
- Twin share accommodation at the 4.5 star lodge of Healing Dreams Retreat, set at the foot of Mt.Strzelecki and Strzelecki National Park with views of the nearby beaches and offshore islands.
- All meals/breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners each night with your personal chef at Healing Dreams.
